The food here is just delicious!!! You absolutely have to get their homemade blueberry bread...soooo good. Our waitress Tonya was so awesome. Always great service from her even though it was crowded for Sunday breakfast. Will definitely visit again! Also for us Stephen King fans this place is featured in his novels, and let's not forget the huge Dark Tower (it is a black water tower but oh how cool!) in the back. Trust me...this place rocks!!!
Great food! If you're looking for a piece of ma's home cooking you've found it. With daily specials, large portions and a large variety of homemade goods such as pies, cookies, muffins, etc. You're sure to find many delicious meals and treats for the whole family. Best yet it's a full service truck stop as well gas up, grab snacks and hit 95 just a stone's throw away!
Fabulous dinner and service! Panko-breaded onion rings, as recommended by superb server Haley, were flavorful and crispy. Wannabe burger and chicken pot pie were delicious, too. The squash, one of our side dishes, was scrumptious! We wanted to try the blueberry pie, but we couldn’t eat another bite. Haley packaged it to go, and it was very tasty too. We had chosen the restaurant because it inspired Stephen King’s short story “Trucks,” and we enjoyed the best dinner of our vacation to Maine! Highly recommended!
Incredible breakfast. Staff was friendly and food came out quick. And meeting Jack and Sonya was the cherry on top. Would definitely recommend to all.
Excellent truck stop, lots of parking. great food at the restaurant. Very nice change from the rest stop/service plaza hopping I've been doing around North of Boston. I will definitely make this my go to stop in Maine. Thanks for the Lobster roll.
