I was going to a Tool concert in Maine over Memorial day weekend. We came in really late the first night due to insane traffic in Boston on the way up... A little past 8:30. But the workers there were still up and very friendly. We were first assigned to a site that didn't have a fireplace or picnic bench, but Frank (worker/fellow camper) quickly noticed this and switch us over to a site that had both. We were very pleased with this! We had a spot in the woods (using tents), but we checked out the rest of the campsite and everything looked really nice. All the people at the campsite were extremely friendly! The bathrooms and showers were also A LOT cleaner than I expected! I walked in on the guy cleaning it the first time and told him it felt like a shame having to use it because it was so clean. Haha. Great spot to camp if in the area. ALSO! : don't be fooled by some of the pictures posted for here; that store is not on-site, nor is that lake. Other than that, great stay!
These guys were awesome! Personally walked me over to my site, got me US change for the laundry at a super fair exchange rate, showed us to the frog pond (amazing) and just generally one of the friendliest most welcoming sites we've been to. Highly recommended!
Great family campground. Well maintained grass sites and pool. Cleanest campground bathrooms I have visited. Friendly helpful staff. Close to shops and restaurants. Some overhead airplane noise but not an issue. We visit every year
It's a quiet, clean campground however it is dated and repairs made are what I consider the least expensive way. The staff is very accommodating and make considerable effort to be friendly. It is also in the direct flight path of the airport. Flights are not constant and there are no flights between 11pm and 6am.
It was a nice, clean, quiet campground with a lot to do for our kids! They have a home-made Mini Golf course that was fun and more challenging than you'd think! There is a small fish/frog pond, stocked with fish if you like to catch some, and they provide nets to catch frogs with as well! There is a pool for swimming, a small arcade where you can play games, including pool and air hockey. We spent 6 nights there, and we were very sad to go home. I would absolutely recommend staying! The only issue we had was that they offer Wi-Fi, however we couldn't get a signal anywhere! Other than that our trip was wonderful!
